We’ve rounded up the best accessories for your Oculus Quest 2 to enhance your virtual reality experience.
Advantages of using VR Accessories
As we all know, the vanilla Meta Quest 2 (now known as the Meta Quest 2) is an amazing stand-alone VR experience. We put our focus on finding new accessories for the Meta Quest 2 that will enhance your experience because it’s by far the best-selling VR headset in the world right now.
These accessories will improve your experience of owning, transporting, and even playing with your VR system.
Silicone Cover by CNBEYOUNG VR
This is by far the first accessory I have told my friends to buy when they are getting a VR headset. A silicone cover for the visor of your Oculus/Meta Quest 2. While the default padding that comes with the headset may be comfortable at first but once you have been sweating while wearing the headset can make the padding unbearable, not to mention hard to clean. Once you have received your new silicone cover, the experience is going to be a game-changer. This silicone cover will make it way easier to wipe down after use, keeping your headset more sanitary for future use as well as blocking out more sunlight that comes in around your nose, which makes the experience way more immersive.

Oculus Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery and Carrying Case
This one only works for Quest 2 owners, and the strap that comes with Quest 2 is alright at first. The issue is that the strap doesn’t provide sufficient stability while playing games that are more physically demanding and involve rapid head movements. You will need something that really locks the headset securely to your face while in-game use. Not only does this strap keep your headset securely in place, but it also comes with a battery pack attached to the back. This provides a balance of the weight, which is easier on your neck, and also provides more game time by twofold keeping your headset charged for extended playtime. As a bonus, it comes with a really nice carrying case for the whole Oculus/Meta Quest 2.

KRX USB-C Cable (20-foot)
This works extremely well with the Oculus/Meta Quest 2, but can also work nicely with other headsets as well. The Oculus/Meta Quest 2 is a standalone VR experience, meaning you don’t need a powerful gaming computer that is compatible with VR to play at any time. But if you happen to have a VR gaming computer, then you can use the Oculus/Meta Quest 2 as a VR visor for the best games out there (including Half-Life: Alyx). While you can do this wirelessly now but the most efficient way is to connect your Quest 2 to the computer with this cable. Meta (formerly Facebook) sells a nice, long USB-C cable for this purpose, but it comes in at $80. In contrast, you can grab this 20-foot-long cable from KRX for about $30.

CYBVR Weighted Gun Stock Controller Grips
In addition to all the above accessories, we really like the use of this Gun-Mould Grip Cover for Oculus/Meta Quest 2. Just an added bonus, adding these gun covers on the VR controllers gives the sense that we are using a pistol in the VR experience when playing VR FPS games.
